Mount Katahdin is the highest mountain in Maine and widely known as one of the most difficult hikes in New England. This rugged and fragrant scent pays homage to our iconic mountain. Reaching the summit of Katahdin is considered a rite of passage for many Mainers. Katahdin is also the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail. Hikers start the trail in Georgia in the spring, completing the 2,200-mile trail in Maine in the spring.
